A strength of EesySoft is its ability to quickly respond to bugs as they are found and to communicate the solution to users and avoid frustration. There are a number of issues which only affect certain browsers. Therefore, rather than burden everyone else with an irrelevant message, it would be great to be able to notify only particular browser users of these issues and their solution.

Monica Dancel: yay!! I went in here to see if this is coming, and now I see its planned! We have some issues with users with older not updated web browsers and this would help us a lot.

Be able to focus messaging based on agent string

Google Chrome and some other browsers currently release changes that cause interactivity issues. These changes normally happen due to privacy changes and the management of Same Site cookies.
It would be great if we could create messaging that would appear based on the agent string of the user's browser. So if a user has Chrome version 90, we can warn the user that they need to make changes to allow some features to work, while not "spamming" users not using that browser.

As some of you have mentioned, this request is the same as #45805 so we are consolidating that request into this one. Those who voted on #45805 have been added to this request. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I'm getting a message to say that content doesn't exist when I try to go to that link so I'm unsure how similar it is.
Thanks

Definitely this would be helpful, as we have seen different problems which are only specific to one or two browsers and having a pop-up type message to warn users on only that browser would be great.

Following an upgrade to Blackboard Q42018 we'd really like to be able to prompt our users to use a supported web browser following Blackboard's decision to drop support for Internet Explorer. As stated in the description it would be extremely useful to have this message appearing only when it's detected that they are using Internet Explorer when they login to Blackboard.

Is this the same request as:
"Display proactive messages based on the user's browser #45805"
