Hi John - I'm sorry to hear that y'all are getting complaints about this. We have some other options for the button placement that might work better. We also have some static options that we've used these with other customers and they seem to work well to get the button out of the way enough for your end users. I will send you an email with these options and we can place them in your staging environment to test out.

I would like this as long as their is an audible alert for requests; that it could be automated so that it will be on between, say 8a-5p M-F , and that if no one is available it will failover to a ticketing system after x minutes of no response.

I have so many complaints about this button from instructors about this tool not being able to dismissed or shrunk smaller or being able to move across the web page that I'm planning on turning it off in the fall term if there isn't anything I can offer. :( And I'm super sad about it because we have the support information mapped to our own ticketing system and its super useful information that comes along such as their browser and OS versions, etc.
